The CEMA executive team has been hard at work with CEMA’s lobbyist making sure the amusement vending industry is not left out or pushed aside in the quarantine reopening. We have communicated with Governor Newsom’s Reopening Committee and based on guidance from our lobbyist and others we have engaged in communications with each and every county health department across the state as well as the health departments of the major cities.

Early responses from some county health officers have our businesses reopening in Stage 3 of the Governor’s “California Pandemic Roadmap” and we are being told this is expected in 2-3 weeks. Below is an example of the letter which has been sent to officials.

We urge you to make your voice heard at the local, county and state level. The biggest impact CEMA can make is through you our members talking directly to your elected officials.
